The Adventurer Club is a Seventh-day Adventist Church-sponsored ministry open to all families of children in Grades Pre-K to 4th. Our mission is to support parents and caregivers in leading and encouraging their children in a growing, joyful love relationship with Jesus Christ.
The first few years of a child’s life sets the stage for their future. For parents/families of pre-K through fourth grade children, our Adventurer Clubs provide a safe place to encourage the development of the necessary social and interpersonal skills they need, in an environment that promotes Christian values and responsibilities.
Sterling volunteer
Before joining Adventurers or Pathfinders, ALL volunteers, teachers and parents need to be background checked through the Florida Conference. As part of this effort, those over 18 who are voted to serve within our churches or organizations, and those who are employed by the church and working with children and youth, are asked to complete a criminal background check (FB 20) and child protection training through Sterling Volunteers. All adults eighteen years (18+) or older must Complete the Child Abuse Training and Background Check.

The Master Guide curriculum is one of the leadership programs that the General Conference Pathfinder/Adventurer Department uses to train people for youth leadership. This is the highest level of leadership within the Pathfinder/Adventurer programs of the church. It centers on one’s spiritual life and growth first and foremost. General leadership skills are sharpened to lead the youth in God-ordained areas. The study of God’s nature and outreach ministry, service to others and a life-style that promotes healthy living increases the amount of development within the youth.
